Meditation Facilitator

A woman in a seated meditation pose

Over the many years of being a seeker, student and lifelong learner I have always used meditation as a means of discovery, healing and understanding of who I am.  It has enabled me to see myself and the world more clearly with a level of acceptance that gets greater as I continue my daily practice.  As a Meditation Facilitator, I work to bring the attendee into a more peaceful and present sense of self.  The many teachers of Meditation I have followed over the years has led me to leading from a place of togetherness verses teaching. I strive to create Sits that are healing for  the individual or the whole group, as each is as unique as the person(s) who attends. I only help to co-create the safe space from which to hold a meditation sit or guide a reset the truest way forward.. Facilitating in this way empowers each of us to open to the greater good of all and we each can bring our gifts to share in the common collective.  Drawing from Native American, Celtic and Yogic traditions anchored firmly in Mindfulness and Insight meditation practices, my sessions are led from the heart with age-old learning and experience.

Meditation Reset Coach

It is nothing new that meditation is called a practice and there is more and more evidence scientifically channelled into the media of its benefits. What began as a curiosity morphed into my medicine, and when taken regularly, I am living a life of balance. There is a dichotomy of life that can interfere with the simple action of taking this prescription for wellbeing. Prioritizing our health, our wellness and our mental health. This is easily witnessed in the extreme routines of elite athletes who practice diligently. They’re able to accomplish their chosen sport expertly,  and yet even the best athletes sometimes need a Coach.

After being an instructor in Advanced Massage Therapy, I marveled how each and every one of us has innate and intrinsic awareness that elevates and balances when applied and focused on. How that inner voice leads one to slow down or take a nap even though that is not the norm to ward off a cold or calm the nerves. As a Certified Massage Therapist and Instructor, the only way for me to help someone either learn or leave a Massage session feeling better was to get them to learn to feel safe, so they could understand something new or shift their perspective.

In healing bodywork the best way to do that is to help someone manage their nervous system -  to reset. There are some tried and true techniques but because each of us are quite different in our ways of feeling safe it takes some experience to hone into the best path and practice for the individual.

  • Are you wanting to feel balanced and centered?

  • Are you ready to learn some expert techniques to help reset your nervous system?

  • Are you stuck and having a hard time getting a practice going on your own?

  • Does meditating feel boring?

  • Do you typically fall asleep during meditation?

  • Is it time to get some answers and get a personal coach who will spark your own intrinsic curiosity and wisdom?
